The Nikon Z5 is one of the most affordable full-framer mirrorless cameras.
It is built around 24MP CMOS sensor with superb 273 point phase detect autofocus, and has well-built, cosy to use body. The camera has weather sealed design with tilting touchscreen. Main controls are including AF mini-joystick, two dials on top, designated video shooting button and ISO speed button. High resolution, large EVF is valuable asset of Z5.
All customization and optimization of camera modes can be done with touchscreen menu, familiar to Nikon users. This camera is oriented for still image shooting, 4K video shooting is cropped with 1.7x rate and cannot provide wide angle view in footages. At the same time full HD video is not cropped provide wider scene capturing.
You will find good working in-body image stabilization in the camera, in combination with stabilized lenses it will allow to get high quality images during hand held shooting. As many Nikon’s cameras Z5 is deliver very good performance in low light conditions with high ISO settings.
